Image of The Week: Cambodia – The Stone Heads of Angkor Thom

This weeks image was captured during my visit to Cambodia a few years ago. The Angkor complex is a photographers dream, and the amount of images I shot during this trip was enough to keep the Japanese flash memory card suppliers in business. The image shows a series of stone heads that line the road on the southern gate, of the mighty Angkor Thom temple. Angkor Thom is only a short walk from the more popular Angkor Wat. Although a somewhat typical shot, I’m still proud of this one.

Very nice image you’ve got there Jason! I wish I could see the Angkor Thom and Angkor Wak in person. Cambodia has been one of the places I wanted to visit for long time.

Hey Wai, Glad you like the shot. Cambodia, should be high on everyone’s list of travel destinations. I can’t honestly think of a bad word to say about the place. It was also a photographers dream destination as well. Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

I can’t wait to get there one day – Between Cuba and Angkor Wat I’m scared at the damage I’ll do with the memory cards. <3
